No notifications for ‘lives’

I recently got a new iPhone 16 with AppleCare after smashing my old one.

I don’t get any notifications when a creator I follow goes live. I have all the settings on correctly. I’ve even tried on my iPad and nothing.

What’s more unusual is even it if I create a new account it doesn’t get live notifications on my iPhone or iPad.

I get notifications if they post a new TikTok though.

Have tried everything - deleting app, new account, clearing cache, resetting iPhone completely with new iOS install, turning off notifications and on both in the app and in iOS settings.

Any ideas?
