So why didn't TikTok notify me they had a problem with some of my videos?

I did a channel check for possible monetization and TikTok gave some pretty bogus reasons on some videos, like nudity and substance use. I don't smoke or drink in my TikTok videos, so substance use was the most ridiculous to me. I've gone shirtless but when I do I don't show below the shoulders, I tried to appeal and it exceeded the time limit.
