How Much Should I Charge for a TikTok Brand Collaboration?

Hey everyone, I’m new to brand collaborations and wanted to ask for some advice or insight from other creators who've been through this. I'm a TikTok creator with 74K followers, and I'm starting to receive brand emails for paid collabs, mainly app promotions and music promos.

My engagement rate is pretty strong, and I've gathered around 4.4 million total likes across a relatively small number of videos. Most of my videos does well, and I only post when I feel like it.

So far, here are some things I’m trying to figure out:

  • What’s a fair rate to charge for a single TikTok video? I don’t want to undercharge, but I’m also worried about scaring brands away if I price too high.
  • A brand asked me for 2–4 videos per month, but I felt that was too much and countered with just one or two videos max, and they agreed. I charged $190 USD for 2 TikToks + a story. Does that seem reasonable?
  • Is it normal to ask brands what their budget range is before naming your rate? Or does that risk getting lowballed?

Would really appreciate any advice from more experienced creators here, TIA!

I can't entirely help with pricing but i can give a suggestion to help you monetize the brand deal slightly more, sign up for an amazon affiliate account and if they are an amazon seller based brand link to the product through your affiliate link so you get a percentage of the sales from your traffic.

Anyone else ask them to set up an affiliate link as part of the brand deal for say 2% of the GROSS profits (not NET profits, they can make up abstract expenses as a reason to lower the amount you get) of traffic you direct to them. So even if you end up lowballing yourself if your video does take off and make them a lot of money you get a take of it as well.

i know this isn't the info you asked for but i hope you find use for it
