Video lagging, how do I fix this.

TikTok runs smoothly when I watch videos without opening the comments. But as soon as I open the comments section, it starts to lag slightly. When I scroll to the next video and open the comments section, the lag gets worse. And when I open the comments again on the new video, the lag increases even more. The longer I stay in the comments section, the more the videos lag overall.
