Found a way to verify TikTok promoters before paying - no more scams
Can we talk about how many fake TikTok promoters are out there? It's actually insane.
Last month I paid someone with "2M followers" to promote my account. They posted my video, got 100 views (probably their mom and bots), and blocked me when I complained. Classic.
Been trying this platform Dumblada that makes promoters verify they actually own their accounts:
- They connect via TikTok OAuth (proves ownership)
- Money stays locked until campaign ends
- They only get paid for real engagement
- You see exactly what metrics they delivered
My results so far:
- Found out 4/5 "promoters" I used before were using fake accounts
- Connected with 2 legit TikTokers with real audiences
- Got actual views from my target demographic
- One promo video led to 10k organic views after
The setup:
- Uses crypto for payments (yeah I know, but it works)
- Tracks views, likes, comments, shares
- Automatic payment based on performance
- No more "trust me bro" DMs
Still not perfect - platform is new and doesn't have tons of creators yet. But at least I'm not getting scammed every week.
Anyone else tired of the "I'll make you viral for $50" scams? How do you verify if a TikTok account is legit before paying for promo?
