is it possible to make friends on tiktok?

Hi, I0m 33 years old and from switzerland. I have a profil picture and a few videos from me and my car on my profile. My dream is to visit an asian country one day. Japan or so... So I tried to make friends this weekend with a few asians. They came from japan, china, south korea, thailand etc... I was never really on tiktok or on social media in general (only for business, not for pirvate stuff), since i grew up without internet and phone and all that...
It's even hard to find someone who speaks english in the first place, and if someone understand english, like 90% of them wants just money or gifts or whatever. From like 100 people i wrote this weekend, 3 replied back. And they all had like max 10k followers, so it's not like a wrote a 2 mio channel...

So i don't know. Is tiktok just a money app? Can you even find friendship there? or for some small talk, cause I really wanna have a friend from asian and learn more about culture and so one. Or am i already a creep? xD
Or is just the asian part of tiktok there for money? If i would write someone from europe or america, i can easy make friends with it, and they reply back...?

PS: And when I say I'm from switzerland sooner or later, they eyes start to glow and even see my more as walking purse, so i already block them, cause I will never spend 1 cent on tiktok, or in general social media.. just that someone respond to me. I already see way to many losers like this there,
