I don't really care that we're getting a new app to replace tiktok but why the hell is it called M2 why not I couldn't come up with any names but still M2?.

from what i understand it the actual app name isn’t going to be called M2, that’s only what it’s called internally (the current tiktok app is called M internally)

We don't even know if this M2 thing is real. The original source that media outlets are using is from a publication called The Information and they got their information from "anonymous sources".

If that is real then M2 is probably an internal codeword, maybe "Musically 2" and it will be published under some other name.
