What the absolute F is going on with all of these “feel sorry for me “AI videos suddenly appear appearing?

All of a sudden a couple of days ago and since, I’m getting a ton of things appearing in my feed. They are AI generated and usually it shows a guy although I did get one today with a woman. And they usually say something with sad music in the background like it’s their birthday and no one has wished them happy birthday, or they have no friends, or they are in their 50s and still single, blah blah blah.

95% of the time you look and there’s only one posting so these things are being created at a rapid pace. You block the account, and within minutes you see another one. And another. Has anyone else noticed these?? I don’t even see the purpose of these. They’re not selling anything or soliciting anything. Just looking for sympathy posts and to see how many people they can trick into thinking these are real?
