Im literally sick of this on tiktok its getting horrible im bout to leave again

The amount of antisemitic, Islamophobic, racist, sexist, comments I see on a daily basis is absolutely insane. I left TikTok back in 2021 and came back a month ago. I enjoy the funny videos I never get to see, but man, I don’t remember it being this bad.

Loool that's weird

It’s been really bad since it came back after the blackout. Before the blackout it was mostly ok, sometimes it would miss some racist comments. Maybe 7/10 reports would be accepted. 

Today I reported a comment that said “we don’t have a race problem, just a problem race”. As racist under hate speech and bullying. The description for racist comments included implying supremacy of one race over another or implying issues with another race. 

Report not accepted.  

Since the blackout not a single report has been accepted. And some of the comments are absolutely vile I remember back in the day, a clown emoji was considered toxic and bullying. 

I’m not saying this because I’m caught up on my own moral superiority or delusional to the point where I think this will send a message to them, but I am really contemplating just shutting my account down again. It’s just not enjoyable when hate speech is going unchecked. Plus- Even the algorithm seems to be off so I’m not getting high quality content anymore. 

I saw people saying “kill all Jews” and “he’s in a warmer place” on Jewish kids’ graves. And it’s always “no violations found”.
