Over the past few weeks I’ve noticed an influx of these accounts. All with the same story “lost my job, split up with my girlfriend” Videos are usually day xx of being homeless and show them cooking some food whilst in a tent. They all have Go Fund me accounts done with £1000’s already donated and comments full of sympathetic posts. Are these accounts legit or grifters preying on the kindness of others? Will they fall under the begging ban coming up?
Tiktok is rubbish now, it's all ads/tiktok shop, lives you don't follow and fakes sooo many people faking things. Go fund me is eventually going to disappear because so many people are misusing it asking for money for something they don't actually need. I only keep my account open so I can keep an eye on what my underage cousin posts. She's 15 and had been posting inappropriate things which of course tiktok didn't take down even though she is obviously a child.

It's a scam. The comments are fake. Tiktok has no comment moderation for bots

If you are genuinely too slow to have already come to the conclusion that some are legit and some are scams I really don’t know what to tell you.
