Yesterday i made a new account and I messaged an old friend of mine that blocked me on my main and they accepted it and talked to me but now today I tried msging them and it keeps saying this. They didn’t block me or anything so idk why it’s doing this. Is this because I made a brand new account or could it be something else?

Tbh seems like they reported one of your messages and since your account is so new TikTok banned it from messaging for the time being. Ik everyone else has already said this but if someone blocks you that’s a sign they don’t want to talk. If this person didn’t unblock your main when you reached out then odds are they were just being cordial and they don’t actually want to talk, just leave them be. If I blocked someone and they made a new account to text me I’d consider them creepy.

Usually there is a probation period on new accounts and if they reported a message this would pop up instantly until you proved not to be a spam bot or menace

Obviously it’s a sign to stop contacting them. Clearly they blocked you for a reason you have zero concept of boundaries.
If they blocked you there’s a feature that lets them block any other accounts YOU make.
