For two months I’ve been blocking every single account that is only selling junk (but not creators I previously filled that sell occasionally). And now my feed is full of sponsored videos where clicking on the profile link takes me to their Amazon shop, so I can’t block them as easily. I want pandemic TikTok back.

Not gonna pretend like there aren’t a lot of ads on TikTok, but Jesus Christ. My fyp has never been this bad 😭 do you interact with the shop portion or click on it by accident a lot? I notice when I accidentally click a link in someone’s TikTok shop ad, I get a bunch of videos recommended to me of that same type of product. I keep hitting “not interested” and it eventually goes back to normal.
The problem I have most of the time is with tiktok lives. It’ll be an actual sponsored ad, then a live video, then a tiktok shop ad, then another live.
