How does the Tiktok algorithm work?

I’m a content creator who’s been making content for a year now on Instagram, I was thinking of switching to TikTok and uploading all the reels I made on there, any idea on how the algorithm on Tiktok works and how can my videos become viral? And how long will take it take my realistically to reach 5k if I have 0 followers now and post daily videos? Any tips would be very appreciated!

So first of all you have to put #fyp under the videos. Almost everyone does it and so in theory the views increase. Obviously you then have to add more #s that have to do with the video so as to reach viewers who are interested in the topic. In addition to this, maybe also add songs that were popular in that period.
