someone explain to me those chest, goody bags, support livestreams

Hi, I'm 33 years old and since 3 months on tiktok. I got into a few livestreams where the streamer always sends goody bags and chests, where the viewers can get coins, and the viewers sending non stop gifts during those livestreams. And the livestreamers always shouting like, share, like, join my family, shouting out the names and all of that, like a hype man.

those streams i found have 200 to 2k viewers...

Now someone explain to me those streams, cause I don't get it.

So i think the livestreamer makes the money, since he gets small to big gifts almost non stop. when he does the goody bags and chests, i think he will not lose that much.

So why people sending galaxy gifts and stuff? to get 1 coin back from a chest or goody bag?

Someone needs to explain this to me, I'm too old for it i think.

And some of them are even half the day online..

PS: And if I'm not wrong tiktok keeps half the gift money for itself.. Which is absolutly crazy in my opinion
