what is with the random faded comments on videos?

I've not been online in a few days but this morning while scrolling through videos, they all have random comments that are faded/barely visible that you can't reply to. A lot of these comments are also just normal comments- they're not rude/offensive/breaking t&cs, so why are they being 'hidden'?
