I have no idea what’s going on here and I have no interest figuring it out.

I think it possibly could be that he still will never understand that he looks good to a majority of people online, and a big key is that he keeps the filter on and his head positioned on his "good side". People are insecure no matter how handsome or Chad they may be. Might even contribute to his being single; he had trouble recognizing his worth and now he doesn't think dating even serves him anymore.

But if that leads him to find love organically/when he least expects it, then that might be just what he needs!

If he walks into the room, the most attractive woman in the room with a degree is going to automatically shade him.

1. She's going to assume a lot of things about his personality.

2. She's going to see how most men react to him (mostly the hatred), and she's going to adapt to the temperature of the room.

And to be honest, forget appearances. Dude seems to be a chill guy. Probably a model, right? So yeah, if he's looking for a woman who's got the full package, she's going to stir clear of him for sure.
