How to clear chat in lives now?

So we used to be able to swipe left in a live and clear the chat so we could have an unobstructed view. I don't know since when, but now swiping left takes me out of the mice and I see no options anywhere to clear the chat and stuff anywhere. Does anyone know how to clear the lives of their chat and other things now?
