I'm sorry, but do people not know what the fuck the word "misogyny" means anymore? Misogyny literally means "woman hating." Since the 1600s that's what it has meant. Miso = hatred. Gyne (gyny) - woman.

So in what what world is a guy being attracted to a woman's breasts equal that he HATES women?

A mutual acquaintance the other day say something about "that's misogynistic" because a guy said something that annoyed her. I asked her what the word means and she got pissed at me for asking and said "It doesn't matter."

What is going on?!

And to top it off -- why would you make such an intense effort to pop your tits out for everyone to see and then feign suprise and offense when the opposite sex notices them?

She isn't mad that he looked at them, but that he questioned them... didn't immediately think wowza... just wondering if she's plastic. Yeah, she doesn't have her vocabulary locked in yet, but yeah. His honesty revealed that he's not impressed with her visage and cleavage at all and even doubts it.

She’s not mad he looked at her boobs. The degradation is was what bothered her. If he’d said, “I noticed your chest/figure”, that answers her question of what he noticed first. Instead, he said, “Are they real?” which is an intrusive and crude question about what he noticed first. Being honest doesn’t mean you can’t have tact. His choice to phrase his response degradingly tells a lot about his character.

Ask a question, you get an answer. She set herself up. It just wasn't the answer she wanted. She wanted him to say something to stroke her ego.

Are people stupid? "Are they real?" is meant to be demeaning in what gym bros think is a flirty way. If he had just said "boobs" and laughed, he would've been honest and (at least in this stupid format) charming enough. I genuinely believe that. He just delivered it like the weirdo he is
