Blocking and Unblocking

So there is this tiktok page that messaged me and when I responded they blocked me. this was shortly after i broke up with my bf so im sure it’s probably him since I had blocked him. The page keeps switching from user not found to the profile picture and the photo has changed once. I tried searching the username though on my friend’s page and it doesn’t come up. Im so confused by this, how is the profile updating in my messages but it doesn’t exist when my friend searches the name
