TikTok notifications of comments not showing

I hope I explained my problem well, but I am just not receiving notifications of current comments and instead I have to find out later by checking my videos myself for comments and see that some have been left like weeks ago, but I never received a notification for it

I check my filtered comments pretty often too and nothing shows there. Today I checked and a comment left in August just NOW appears
