tiktok promotion tool question

i’ve seen mixed things about the promotion tool, but as far as i’m aware, it does work to a certain extent, but it’s ultimately up to the creator to market engaging content worthy of promotion.

so i’m curious, im trying to get my music seen, and tik tok might be my best bet (i have an alright following of 800).

i’ll say i’ve already tried promoting before, and it didn’t effect my view count in a bad way like it seemed to do for others.
