Everyone uses religion. It’s a group a people who will pretty much believe anything, and if you say “we’re on the same team,” they will always back you up. Not only is it the reason for the formation of many religions today, but it is the reason they are targeted by politicians. There isn’t a better group of people to ask for money or votes. The world is full of them, too. Almost every group seeking power uses the religious.
