Should I leave or interact after posting?

NOTE: I'm an editor so if you're also an editor your response would be better.

I've been told my some to leave the app as soon as I upload a video but I've also been told that staying on the app and interacting boosts the videos more.

I've created this account around two months ago and while before I'd be getting 1k/700 views, now i usually get 300/400, I don't really care about going viral immediately but i do want to see my account growing and not the views decreasing...

I know it's all random and i genuinely don't care what you say, TikTok's algorithm is indeed random but I still wanted to ask what works best for you.
