Wjy is the algorithm being so aggressive?

In all my years on tiktok I have never had an issue woth my fyp. I get animations, comics, memes, the usual. But likely after I like one video about something it will be there for the next videos. Now it's just being very political. I liked one video. Only one about something political and it won't stop popping up. I support it, but I dont want to see it every other video? I want my old fyp back. I don't understand why it's being so aggressive. I'm going to reset but I was just curious if this is happening to anyone else.

The most common way to divide people into tribes and pit them against one another is consistently politics.

So basically your feed is being manipulated by an extremely advanced technology to help pad their bottom line.
