Tiktok issues :/

So I'm sure yall got issues with tiktok as well. But one thats been happening recently is with my notifications. Other than the fact that it notifies me that my friend made a new post and then shows me one posted from a couple months back, after viewing an account once (like their pfp), I cant stop getting suggestions notifications to see their posts. I tapped the "not interested" button so many times and yet still they show. Any clue how to get it to stop? Do I just clear my content preferences?
