Is the algorithm broken?

My for you page has nothing to do with any of the accounts I follow or content I have liked. I tried doing the refresh my feed option multiple times and still nothing! My feed is just either live and live after live or product after product…and if I get an actual video it’s of some nsfl video with people dying in Palestine. I’ve never watched any content like that. I am so confused.

Prior to this I would get relevant content based on my likes and follows 🤔

I’m only seeing old content on my FYP at the moment… like 6 or 7 months old

It’s also important to remember that a major purchase is happening and the algorithm who controls it and what it even is is changing hands TikTok is already beginning to look strikingly different today than it did this time last year I’m curious to see how bad it’s gonna progress
