Is it possible to change my American TikTok account to a Portuguese one before the Oracle switch?

NOTE: I AM moving to Portugal, I’m not an American using a VPN or other device to avoid being lumped into the American app switch.

I’ve been on TikTok since 2018 and created it based in America with American details.

In a little over a month, I will be moving to Portugal and getting a new SIM card and new Portuguese phone number. I will still have an American sim stored away somewhere but probably will close that phone number.

Does this change my American status on TikTok? Will I still be in the Oracle servers + with the rest of America when the app switches over or does moving to Portugal revert my data to Byte Dance and Chinese servers?

(Ideally I wouldn’t want to create a new account as I have sooo many videos from so many years as well as almost 100k followers.)
