"let me get this straight!..." start of a rant question?

I don't really use Tiktok but I often get converted videos sent my way on youtube. It's extremely common that a Tiktoker with quickly yell out "let me get this straight.." before going to with a political rant. It feels so contrived. The latest one started "Breaking news! now let me get this straight!" Is this an algorithm thing or "how to talk on tiktok" thing or what.
