Why is the tiktok search bar so weird?

bro, tf is this search bar, i just downloaded TikTok YESTERDAY to get a streak with my friend, and i have only been using it to find music and stuff. I have barely managed to make it give me posts in English, and why is it recommending such weird things(I have never searched or watched anything related to the search bar)
