Because they don’t like their given name? Because they want to? Because the new name is more fun and suits them better? Because they can? Because they are an actress and the new name resonates with the audience better? I mean, there are tons of reasons!! And, it really doesn’t matter. 🤷♀️. People change their names all the time. Who cares.
