Is age verification on tiktok very advanced?

My friend's account suddenly had a restriction stating that it's for people under 16. To change their age, he have to upload a photo of their ID with their age listed. I was thinking about changing the age from the ID in the photo to something else. I wonder if they'll only notice the age change in the photo, or if the "verification" is so poor that the trick will work.
