Tiktok, and social media comments in general, have been this way since the beginning.
People with miserable lives that have nothing better to do and can't be happy unless everyone else is as miserable as they are.
That and some people are just straight up miserable pieces of shit.
Reporting them does absolutely nothing. The only thing you can do os block them and move on.
Well, Trump has said that he wanted to turn TT into a propaganda machine, so these same idiots who were worried that CHYNA was spying on them are now flocking to the app… and they are the most easily offended, hysterical group of people you’ll ever have the misfortune of sharing our country with.
It's mostly bots i was watching a Kirzgesagt video which said with sources that social media is likely to have tipped the 50/50 split so it's 51% bots to real people.
With all of the selling and aligning I'd imagine in Tiktoks case the bot problem is significant. Most of the bots are designed to spread hate next time you see one of those videos look at the person at they'll be following 1000s of people.
That combined with stupid people is why its so grim
