Is it a bad idea to post videos that are around 70 to 90 seconds long?

I’m planning to start making content for TikTok. I’m doing it mostly for personal reasons, but it’d be cool if it actually did well.

The thing is, I wrote the scripts for several videos, and while recording I realized that reading them takes around 60 to 100 seconds.

Would that be too long, or is it fine as long as the content is engaging?

I grew to 12k folllowers quickly, organically at that. TikTok’s algorithm favors short videos 15 - 20 sec or even less if it’s good quality. I only posted 1 1 min vid before I hit 10k just as a test. It might be different for you though. Post 1-3 long one end see how it performs and gauge off that maybe?
