I created a channel and reposted random vids that were trending as an experiment to see how hard it is to get followers.
With little to no editing. Faceless. In just a week I had 20 followers and like 70 likes.
So maybe in 6 months time or a year if I tried to put better content I could possibly become monotized.
This was without having any niche. I was just looking for trending stuff and posting a vid to see if I could get views.
Most views I got was a video showing off the new Sora2. It was a repost with no editing. It got 3000 views.
Most videos got no views. Things that teach you stuff seemed to be the most consistent with getting views like I put up a drawing tutorial it got around 100 views. A random video on Roblox brainrot got like 700 views. It was in Spanish.
So if I were to actually go all in and create a channel. It would probably be art tutorials. Just something you're good at that you can teach other people. It wouldnt be viral but I could at least get 500-1000 views on each short or video, maybe more.
Maybe something like tutorials on kind of easy to do hobbies like arts and crafts or knitting or just whatever little niche hobby that people find interesting. Like something lots of people would like to be good at.
It wasn't as hard as I thought to get followers and views and likes. I still am getting random followers just from the random reposts I put up. Maybe I will try it one day when I have a lot of extra time.
