Overbearing Amount of Ads? (US)

I was counting how often I get ads on my FYP, and it's every 2-3 videos plus cutting off videos to play an ad towards the end. I swear it wasn't THIS bad not too long ago. Is this because of the new owner or something? Idk, just wondering if anyone else clocked it.
