Mucinex for pregnancy?

I was just scrolling thru my fyp and saw Mucinex (a cough medicine) on this post. I dug deeper and discovered that many women posted about this and are actually using Mucinex as a “pregnancy hack.” Is this true? Is there any scientific explanation about this?

There is limited evidence that Mucinex can help getting pregnant because it thins all mucus, not just the mucus in your nose. Again, it’s very limited, there haven’t been any mass studies, to my knowledge.
