Is the web algorithm different or is it just me?

I havent used tiktok in a while but i lost my phone so i wanted to get on tiktok again as i love it, but on the web version, it feels different, after a few videos it gets completely different, like weird ai movie reviews when my content should be anime edits, rdr stuff, and trans stuff
