How do I know what my account hacker can see?

Hi so basically i signed up for tiktok w my school email. and i got a dm saying “how’s ___ university”

then i got a code request to log in

how does the person know my email? and did it show xxxx@university or did it give my intials mxxxi@university

please let me know
