Full Trial of Sekhemas in Under 5 Minutes - Oracle Build

I didn't expect this league to be faster than last league in terms of clear speed.

I got to sort of work with a GGG dev after he watched last league's speedrun which resulted in every single skip getting patched. So we can say for certain that all the remaining skips and tricks are all intended mechanics of Sekhemas.

I also cleared Last Flame with this build. The extremely fast sparks were great at just cleaning up entire rooms before anything had a chance to attack you (mostly).

Inb4 "but temporalis" - I clear Sekhemas in around 7:30 without tempo, and I did it 4 times in a row on a non-blink character (crossbow infernalist) as well as my Blood Mage wearing Silks of Sand (fake tempo). So while Tempo does significantly improve times, there's nothing stopping the average person from getting sub 8 minute runs without much investment besides some practice. I keep seeing posts saying 15 minutes is fast.

Well, I can also clear most rooms in under 5 minutes, so there's that.

Takes me about 45 mins per run, if I survive

forgot to mention, here's the league start build I put out and used to start doing 4th ascend carries around 10-12hr after league launch: https://youtu.be/jmupKfNpBGA

Note this is almost certainly getting nerfed into the ground as it's a CoC BM build. I already have other league start carry builds in the works and will post them closer to launch (still optimizing).

Hi! This is an automated message posted because your flair indicates that this post is a build or showcase.

Please ensure that you are following rule 3:

Build posts must include a PoB - If you are posting a build you must include, either in the post or the comments, a PoB for the build as well as (at the very least) a short explanation of the build. If the build is speculative (i.e. about an unreleased skill) then requirements for a PoB may be waived.

Once a mod has checked this post, this comment will be removed. If you are following the rule already you do not have to do anything.

Thanks a lot for contributing to this sub!

Do you have a PoB for your Blood Mage build?

PoE_Acronym_Bot•7 months ago•0

I noticed some Path of Exile keywords in this post:

  • PoB - Path of Building, an external tool used to simulate and plan character builds
  • Sekhemas - Trial of the Sekhemas (Ascendancy trial) (Wiki)

The Randomancer has a New Challenge Mode!

Hey there game-enjoyers! I've been developing a POE2 build randomizer app in my free time for the last 5 months or so, and periodically posting dev updates here (for lack of a better term). [https://therandomancer.com/](https://therandomancer.com/) I thought I had pretty much run this thing into the ground at this point, but was enjoying the process so much I figured I'd chuck a few more features into it just for the heck of it. Hence, I present, the Randomancer Challenge Mode: https://preview.redd.it/bj4miajt7zlg1.png?width=1820&format=png&auto=webp&s=85c32031678d6e311912d961016631f7e68c1afc Very similar idea, but instead of generating a set of build recommendations, it generates a challenge with a series of elements. I figured since a lot of people seemed to be using this thing to set strict challenges for themselves, why not lean into it? Just a warning, some of these are pretty gnarly, maybe completely unreasonable. But the goal was to not set any actually impossible tasks. Again, this is all just for fun, and another way to spark some creativity and renewed interest when the league starts to drag. Hope y'all enjoy the new stuff and playing around with the app. As always I love getting feedback, bugs, suggestions, and new ideas. Don't hesitate to reach out, you can find my email, X, Google Forms Feedback form, and GitHub links in the app. Are these new challenges too hard? Not hard enough? Too weird or too boring? Don't pair well? You have ideas for lots of other challenge tasks? Etc... let me know! If you've been tagging along for a bit, below are some of the updates I've made since my last post: * Completely new Challenge Mode (obviously) * New Weapon Set controls for Build mode. * New Combat Mechanics counter control for Build mode. * Added section for particularly pertinent synergy supports, if any exist. * [Poe.ninja](http://Poe.ninja) link. This take your rolled ascendancy, weapon(s), and two recommended skills and links to a filtered [poe.ninja](http://poe.ninja) page to see if anyone else has pulled it off this league! (Defaults to trade softcore). For REAL weird rolls expect it to be empty, though sometimes people can surprise you. * Big data refactor to provide better recommendations. * Skill and uniques matching logic has been overhauled. * Bucket of bugs resolved + handful of styling clutter cleaned out. * Probably other stuff I'm forgetting.

Looking For Help: Melee Frost Lich

I've been watching a good deal of content, but no one seems to have this one laid out. I'm looking for guideance as to how I could build a Frost-based Melee Lich. My ideal would be something like WoW's Frost DK. (Fast attacks, cold, plague damage, mass synergies). Primarily I'm looking for a heavy armored, cold-damage build (not Ice Sorcereress - already leveled one). I would like to spread and freeze quickly. Maybe using poison damage if elemental doesn't work. Some ideas as to how to spread debuffs (whether through talent tree or ability-gems greatly appreciated). I'm using: Frost Breach Slim Mace right now as a weapon. Here are some thoughts I'm playing around with thus far: * Frost/Cold Thematics * Melee Cold Damage * Two-Handed or Dual-Weilding * Heavy Armor * Armor also applies to Elemental Damage * Bind Spectre (Minion) \- Not really interested in minions doing all the work. (As I've seen Frost Skeleton builds). Not really looking for an army build. \+ I really like the disease and infection idea. Any general tools/sites, weapon/armor suggestions, ideas on skill gems or other concept directions would be greatly appreciated. I'm flexible with the idea. Please and Thank You.
