How are you supposed to 2x speed with one hand?

I watch a lot of tiktok, and I need it to be 2x speed. Yes my brain is broken.

On the right hand side of the screen, I used to just be able to hold on the side and speed up. Now, stupidly, tiktok will repost if I press the heart, comment an emoji if I press and emoji, or go to a collection if I press favorite. I don't see there's any way to 2x speed without using my left hand.

Am I missing something? Any settings or places to press on the screen to get my 2x?
