Old DM moved to the top?

Has anyone else had an old TikTok DM jump to the top of their inbox just by opening it? I opened a chat from 2 years ago, and a 'Play emoji games' prompt appeared. I didn’t type or send anything, but the thread moved to the very top of my messages list as if I had. Does this trigger a notification or move the chat to the top for the other person, or is it just a local UI glitch?
