Why do some accounts instantly get pushed while others stay stuck at 200 views?

I have been posting for a while and I keep running into the same issue.

Most of my videos land somewhere between 200 and 300 views, get a few likes, then just stop completely. It does not seem to matter what I change. I have tried different hooks, formats, posting times, even reworking ideas that I have seen do well on other accounts.

What confuses me is seeing other accounts post similar content and somehow get way more reach.

At one point I even went down a rabbit hole reading about how people try to “kickstart” accounts early on. I came across a bunch of sites like whateverboosts dot com and similar ones, but it honestly just made things more confusing.

Now I am not even sure if I am overthinking everything.

For those who have dealt with this before, did your videos just randomly start picking up at some point, or was there something specific you changed?

Same here the algorithm plays favoritism don’t let these fools gaslight you by telling you to do all that other bullshit that don’t matter the algorithm just ain’t pushing certain people that’s the actual truth

When I first started, I got 200-300 for months. Then I randomly had one get like 300k views that was a little different from my usual content but same niche. I started tweaking my videos to be more like the 300k one and that’s wha made my account take off. I’m constantly messing with how I do things now and if one format is doing well, I repeat it as much as possible.

The algorithm tests videos with 200-300 people. If they seem to like it, it sends it to more people.  If people aren't really engaging with your video in the test period, then that's the end of that.

(My most viewed video was one I posted as a joke to annoy my wife, and it unexpectedly got around a thousand views...She asked me where I was, so I took a quick video, posted it to TikTok and sent her a link.  Hard to predict what people will like.)
