What’s with people just begging for likes or just kinda tricking people or guilty tripping them into liking their comments.

The comments are always on unrelated videos and made by bot accounts. Is there some kind of gain from getting likes on your comments or is it just sad people on TikTok?
Maybe account building schemes? Perhaps tiktok looks at how much you engage in comment sections, how many likes you get so maybe rewards those accounts with more reach. If that's not true then I see no reason to do it.
I've just noticed that my comments often get pushed to front page ahead of thousands because I have a reputation of making highly liked comments.
I don't know if that translates to more reach for video uploads though.

The religious one always grate on me.
Knew a small businessman who tossed out every business card which mentioned religion, on the reasoning that it was a hallmark of a con man.
His logic has held up over time.
I kinda can't stand people who want to be the first comment, at least now they actually tag the real first comment, but still who actually cares that much?
ever since they started putting GIFs and Images on Tiktok , it just went to trash
