my tiktok views are stuck at 200 what gives?

I’m in the same boat. tiktok tests  your video with a small group, and if it doesn't get immediate engagement, it dies. i started sending 500 likes and 5k views to my videos from whateverboosts  as soon as i post. it tricks the algorithm into thinking the video is viral-worthy, and then it actually pushes it to real people. my last 3 videos hit 50k+ organic views after i did that.

Just means the video isnt deemed interesting enough. If you look at the retention you will likely see that 50% of people are not even watching at the 3 second mark. Retention is the biggest factor in whether a video breaks out of the low hundreds or doesn’t.

make sure you're targeting the audience you want with accurate keywords and hashtags. Don't use general tags like fyp. The more targeted your audience, more chances of engagement, likes. Comments, etc. If your video is about skateboarding, you really only need hashtags relevant to that.
