Chat Colors Changing

I don't know if I'm going insane, but my chat bubble colors have changed. I'm used to seeing a two shaded blue ombré, but now it's a blurple ombré? Is this a new chat colors/cosmetic update? It's not that big of a deal, but it's very confusing to me since I've always known the two blue shades (my partner still has the old chat bubble colors, so.. it's kind of weird).
