Why the hell is TikTok blocking my views

Ok. So I am a newish content creator. Adding reels as you do. Most of them would get stuck in the 300 views jail. I thought - okay. Maybe they are a bit bland and boring and low effort. So I upped by reels game. By quite a lot.

I literally get people jumping on the content with likes and comments now within seconds of it going live. Just now - I thought I'd have a bit of a viral moment with my video hitting 29 views, 6 likes, a save and a comment already.

But nah. The bloody algo has stopped pushing me. Now I'm actually stuck in a 30 views jail for some reason. I honestly don't get it? It doesn't make any sense to me whatsoever.

Yeah that's infuriating. I've noticed the past couple days my like to view ratios hit a new high and TikTok just throttled the views down to about a quarter of what I normally get with videos with fewer likes. It's literally, "uh oh this person may get a little boost without paying us for it, better slam the lid down quick." Somebody needs to make a good alternative app already, we're deep into the enshitification cycle with this one.

Could be pretty much anything, OP. This all sounds real vague and too vague to pin down.

You just need to learn to make better content. TikTok is a search engine now- make content that people are searching for and help the algorithm to figure out who to serve it to be being really specific
