TikTok email notifications from a hacked account?

I've been getting tiktok notifications in my email for the past couple months for an account I have long since abandoned (5+ years ago), from random foreign accounts I'm apparently "following". I checked out my profile, and its following is way bigger than it used to be, but my username and profile pic seems to be the same (no sensitive info on there).

I tried logging in with my email, but tiktok told me my email isn't registered, even though tiktok's still sending notifications to it. Any idea what's going on? I honestly don't even care if someone managed to take control of my account as long as they don't have access to anything else (I made sure of that, I think), I just find the notifications annoying.
