Age restricted out of nowhere

Hello guys, I’m so confused right now. I’m 20 years old and today, completely out of nowhere, TikTok age restricted my account, telling me I might be under 16 years old?? Can anyone explain to me how could they possibly think that and just restrict me for no reason?..

Well, I’m so excited about having to take a picture of my ID for TikTok… 🤦🏼‍♀️

If you're not getting paid by tiktok, I wouldn't bother with it. Not worth the security risk of having your identity stolen.
