Tik tok glitch or am i crazy??

I need outside opinions because this turned into a whole issue.

I blocked someone on TikTok over a year ago. Haven’t interacted, searched them, nothing.

Recently, someone looked at my profile and said it showed that I was following that person. But when I checked on my end: • They were NOT in my following list • My follower count was different from what they saw • The person is still in my blocked list (from a long time ago)

At one point it looked like I “unfollowed” them, but I never followed them in the first place after blocking.

Has anyone experienced something like this? Is this a known TikTok glitch with followers/block lists not syncing?

Because from the outside it 100% looks like I followed then quickly unfollowed, but that’s not what happened

So it isn't a glitch, it's rather them just having it in their name as a troll

I think we have a similar situation. I have 2 private tiktok accounts. 1, my main account I use to follow my friends and people I am close with and the other 1 is for my brain rot contents i wanna watch, which does not have the friends I follow nor they follow this account.

Just this past hour, while using my brain rot account, I notice when I tap on the share tab, the “share to” list of friends shows my main account. Which is weird and anxiety inducing 😂 the worse part is, I accidentally tapped one of my friend in the list and sent and shared a content i was watching! Cause it made me think I was in my main account. I got so confused. But then, when I went to my friends profile and tap on the “message” option, there was no content sent or shared. I am hoping this is just a bug/glitch due to switching accounts instantaneously multiple times a day.
