Have you seen anything drastically changed since the states acquired TikTok in your feed?

I’ll start. For me, I’m not sure. The vids seems similar (it sees you interacting with a topic or watching a couple similar videos for a while, so it pushes more of that content to you.)

Categories of content: this is hard for me. But there’s an anecdotal truth that I found myself watching more interesting content and being on longer before the acquisition. There are times where I can tell my immediate feed is trying to push a certain immediate topic that I was vaguely interested in, only for me to get annoyed that I was being sent the same content in one feed,

Gov content, this one is hard to say. In the past couple months, I feel like I’m seeing less of that content.

Variety of content: I feel like it’s less.

Overall I personally am unsure, I think TikTok is still addictive, for better or worse, but the quality and variety of content have me questioning things. I can’t say for certain what it is I feel if anything since the change. Thoughts?

Yes the amount of money I’m saving because I won’t be putting a penny into the app anymore.

Yes I’ve notice the change. I don’t use tik tok much anymore. Before, my feed would have videos tailored to my interests. It isn’t like that anymore.

Speaking as a creator my videos take MUCH longer to gain traction/go viral if at all (reach is so low these days)

I either get a ton of absolutely unfunny garbage videos (when I don't post anything), or mediocre older videos (when I do post something).

TikTok gave Oracle a botched build outa revenge I imagine...

Fair play for them on the hostile takeover...

Can't be mad at em for it really, glad I can exit more easily.
